Judith co-wrote the screenplay for The Tom Mule Show, another Grasshorse production, and worked as an animator on the project. In July, 2010, Judith was awarded a professional writer's scholarship to attend The Highlights Foundation Writers Workshop at Chautauqua. As a member of SCBWI, Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, she has been writing and illustrating children's books. |
Judith started her art career in NYC, as an Assistant Animator for animated features and TV movies such as Raggedy Ann & Andy, Strawberry Shortcake, Berenstain Bears, and Gnomes. As a member of IATSE, The Screen Cartoonist Local Union, Judith worked for various animation companies on TV commericals with clients such as Crest, Welches, Twinkees, Kool-Aid, Ajax, and Pepto Bismal and more. Raising her family in Massachusetts, she worked for Longman Publishers illustrating textbooks. Judith was honored by President Reagan to design artwork for the White House and is part of the Smithsonian Museums' permanent collection. While currently living in the Midwest, she has been working as a free-lance illustrator for several popular books and magazines, including,Vedic Mathmatics for MSAE press, 2003; Reducing Blood Pressure Naturally, Xlibris, 2004; Total Heart Health for Basic Health Publications, 2005 and John and Jayne Doe series for Health Communications, Inc., 2007. Judith worked in Adobe Photoshop as a graphic artist for The Sky Factory. |
